We have a new member of the Aspect IT helpdesk team!

Meet Rob Reeves, our 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer who is joining Layton and Guy on the helpdesk to assist with remote and on site IT projects. Rob has previously worked for large organisations such as Zen Internet, Equanet and UKFast. He has also been demonstrating his knowledge in the IT industry since 2006, so we can safely say that he is more than knowledgeable to be brought on board to the Aspect team.

To get to know Rob at little more than just his work, we thought it’s time to put him in the spotlight!

Welcome to the spotlight Rob!

What are you passionate about?

Patisserie! If I had both the time and money, I’d open an independent patisserie and coffee shop in Manchester “La patisserie gastronomique”

What is the craziest thing you've ever done?

Define Crazy.. Flying a 12sqm kite and shattering multiple bones? Going to London for a long weekend, ending up with a job and a girlfriend?

Who inspires you?

Fictional or real? Fictional Jean Valjean – He went through so many bad times and always found the good in the situation and turned it to his advantage. Real – Captain Picard! Joking, it’s probably my son, since he came along I’ve upped my game and strived to be a better person, and it’s him who inspired me to be more than I thought I could be.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

New-Zealand, I had the opportunity to work there as a mountain bike tour guide and regretted making the decision to stay in London for years after.

What was the best concert you've ever attended?

This is a tough one, It’s between AC/DC at Wembley and Motorhead at the Apollo.

What movie or TV show do you refuse to watch and why?

TWILIGHT!!!! Vampires shouldn’t sparkle in the sunlight, they should burn! Unless they’re Wesley Snipes!

What animal best describes your personality

I think a snake would probably be the closest, shy, greedy and often misjudged.

If you could change anything in the world, what would it be?

Homelessness (Make all housing free…)
