Facebook can be a fantastic platform for keeping in touch with friends and family. It can also be used as a great source for entertainment and procrastination purposes! But do the general public really need to see everything you’re posting and sharing in your spare time?
If you haven’t already checked your account’s privacy settings it’s probably about time you did. If you need our help controlling the visibility of what you post on Facebook, follow the quick and easy steps outlined below;
1. First, click on the padlock icon in the upper right hand corner of your profile. Then click ‘See More Settings’.
2. This will bring you to ‘Privacy Settings and Tools’ where you can alter ‘Who can see my stuff?’ to ‘Friends’ or ‘Only Me’.
When you’ve finished this process, your friends should be the only people who are able to view your photos and any other content that you post. You can even pick and choose which friends can see what; this can be very useful if you don’t want your boss to see what you got up to at the weekend!
