That’s right, the most common question you ask when you’ve parked somewhere with hundreds of cars. How many of you walk aimlessly around a car park because you’ve forgotten where you parked your car?
Google maps have come to the rescue with their new feature!
You will never question the whereabouts of your car again as Google Maps can help you locate your car! The feature will allow you to save the location of where you parked your car, so you can always look at it when you’re heading back.
Not only does it let you locate where you park, it also lets you know how long you’ve got left until your parking time is up! Lots of people either lose track of time or don’t remember what time they parked or how long they have left. This is a great feature to help people avoid those hefty parking fines! You can also insert notes and images so you can take a picture maybe of your surroundings to make it easier for you.
Believe it or not…it’s a traffic warden’s nightmare!
What devices is this feature available on?
It is available on Android and iOS. You just need to make sure you have the latest update on your mobile. Without the latest update, you will not be able to access it.
How do you mark it on the map?
First you need to get your location up (where the blue dot is), then click the blue dot which will give you the ‘Save your parking’ option. It’s the same on both Android and iOS.
You will need to set this up manually, but obviously being Google Maps, it will track your location automatically.
So all you need to do is have the latest update of your device and you will never spend too much time looking for your car.
