The IOS6 from Apple is due to be released in Autumn this year.
Rather than list all the new stuff, I thought I’d simply blog about what I consider to be the 3 best new features.
Now these features are good and Apple seem to have thought of some interesting stuff, but there is nothing groundbreaking, so don’t get too excited!
New Phone Options: Why wasn’t this thought of before I ask!
This is my favourite feature: so simple and yet will be fantastic!
When a call comes in that you don’t want to answer, you can reply with a standard message or add a reminder to your calendar to call them back.

Find My Friends: Location Based Alerts
Find my Friends was a great introduction in IOS5. Now in 6 there are some great features added. The main one is that you can get location based alerts, for example, when your kids arrive home or leave school. If this works as promised, then it’ll be fantastic.
Find my iPhone: Better Features
Find my iPhone was a security measure to prevent people using your iPhone if stolen or lost. The new features now allow you to immediatley lock your iPhone and send it a message so it displays a contact number on the screen. The idea is that the good samaritan that finds your phone will ring you. Whilst locked, you can also track the phone.
