It’s an exciting time when you know there’s a new smartphone on the way. Samsung is preparing themselves for their first launch of their smartphone for 2018! In just a few weeks, you will see PHYSICALLY the new Galaxy S9. Our blog will get you all excited and prepare you for what lies ahead of the launch.
In Barcelona there is a Mobile World Congress where Samsung will reveal for the first time the Galaxy S9. The mobile it is currently competing with is the Apple iPhone X. However there is discussion about the iPhone X being discontinued as the sales haven’t been quite up to scratch. So, who knows what advantage it is going to give Samsung?
No dual screen – Samsung are expected to bring out the dual screen at some point this year, but unfortunately for those with high hopes, the Samsung Galaxy S9 will not feature a dual screen. Or at least that is what they say.
Rear fingerprint scanner – The rear fingerprint scanner is featured on other Samsung smartphones, so for now it is here to stay. Facial technology has come about and has been predicted to feature on the S9 which will step up from the S8’s iris scanner.
Bixby voice assistant – Bixby is here to stay! Where would you Samsung users be without your personal voice assistant? It’s all about technology development, so why would they get rid of Bixby?
Just to make everything perfectly crystal clear, nothing is set in stone yet so the costing could be more or less. For the S9 we can expect to see the £789 for the S9 and £879 for the S9+.
We will find out more in the coming weeks but sadly for now, we will have to be extremely patient until 25th February arrives!
