Mobile Friendly Case Study

The web is an extremely powerful tool for connecting with potential customers. But what happens when your customers can’t find you? This could happen for a number of reasons, but a biggie could be the fact that your site is not mobile or tablet optimised.
Customers are now ditching the desktop and reaching for their smartphone when making a Google search. If your website is not mobile friendly, this will negatively impact on your appearance in Google’s search engine results.

According to research, 61 per cent of web users leave a site if it isn’t mobile responsive. For this very reason. Bowland Stoves, a national stove retailer based in the North West, approached Aspect IT and asked if we could make the critical changes needed to ensure that their website was mobile and tablet responsive.

These changes included:

  • Using readable text, so that users do not have to zoom
  • Using appropriate content sizing so that users do not have to scroll horizontally
  • Placing links far enough apart so that they can be easily accessed
