We know, we wanted 5 more minutes in bed too, but don’t worry it’s a fresh week and we’re excited to tell you this fine Monday morning that we have a new member of the helpdesk team! In our article today we will introduce you to Bradley Davies, our 1st Line Support Engineer, our attendance at the Smarter Business Tech Live, our top monthly blogs and our latest article in the Saddleworth Independent Newspaper.
Bradley is the newest member of the Aspect IT helpdesk team so you will mostly likely end up chatting to him on the phone! We had a little question time with Bradley to find out more about him.
Q: What does your role involve as an IT Technician?
A: I will be helping the current members of the team manage our client’s systems and I will be the first point of contact for issues. I will also be filtering out the small issues so the team can focus on projects and more serious problems with the clients.
Q: What did you do before you became part of the helpdesk?
A: I went to Tameside Sixth form college for 3 year to study Game Design and Animation and I’ve also taken course video game design/development.
Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?
A: I work on Game development projects and developing and making assets for multiple of my own video games. I design the characters, make the art and code the project myself.
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
A: Norway, seems like a cool place to visit.
Q: Do you have a favourite TV series/film?
A: Scott Pilgrim Vs the world.
Q: If you had one wish for the future what would it be?
A: Get around to finishing one of my projects.
Last week we attended the Smarter Business Tech Live in Manchester where you can learn so much about Sales, Marketing and much more from successful business people. Listening to how you can grow your business through sales and marketing was a treat to listen to, especially when they shared their own personal experiences with us.
Maybe we’ll see you there next year?
Yikes is the word you don’t want to say when it comes to IT. Technical problems are the last thing you need in a busy workplace.
Our November article in the Saddleworth Independent Newspaper is the perfect guide to avoid a business IT disaster.
